Terms of use

These terms govern your use of this website. By using it you agree to them. Last updated: October 2026.

The operator

This website is operated by Selfternity FZE, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: help@selfternity.me.

What this website is, and what it is not

It provides information about the Selfternity™ movement, educational content, proprietary frameworks and advocacy work.

Selfternity™ Leave is a developing workplace-policy proposal. It is not an existing entitlement, an employee benefit offered by any employer, a medical treatment, a therapy, a clinically validated intervention, or a policy already adopted in any workplace.

Nothing here is legal, medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and nothing here is crisis support. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

No contract is formed between you and the operator by using this website, and no promise is made that the proposal will be adopted by anyone.

Your use of the material

You may read this website and share it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, provided the material is unaltered, the source is credited, and a link back to this website is included.

You may not republish this material at scale, sell it, mirror this website, scrape it systematically, or use it to train a machine-learning system, without written permission from the operator.

The five-part journey structure, the frameworks, the written material and the visual identity are the operator’s intellectual property, or that of its founder. Permission for anything beyond the use described above should be requested in writing.

Trade marks

Selfternity™ is a registered trade mark in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union and Australia. Ownership of each registration is recorded with the relevant trade mark office.

Nothing on this website assigns, licenses or transfers any rights in the mark, and no use of the mark on this website implies sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation with you.

Third-party services

Substack and iPetitions are independent services. Links to them open in a new tab, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies, not ours.

Subscribing takes place on Substack. Signing the petition takes place on iPetitions, where the display of a signature is their decision, not ours.

We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Accuracy and changes

The material here describes a proposal that is still developing. Details may change as the work progresses, and pages are updated without separate notice.

The website is provided as it stands. To the fullest extent the law allows, no warranty is given that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on anything published here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise for you.

Updates to these terms

These terms may be revised. The revised date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continued use of the website means you accept the current version.
